Welcome to the survey on potential usage of Volunteered Geographic Information (VGI) in disaster management! I am very pleased that you have found the time to participate in this study. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete the questionnaire. The first set of questions are general questions, while the second part is related to the simulation of a marine disaster and potential of VGI usage for disaster management.

The questionnaire is based on previous research on VGI quality and its potential in disaster management, which was conducted in the framework of PhD research entitled "Quality Assessment for Disaster Management within Marine Spatial Data Infrastructure", as part of my doctoral study at the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering, University of Ljubljana. The results of this survey will be presented in the dissertation thesis and scientific papers considering the standards and requirements of personal data protection. At the end of the questionnaire, you will have the opportunity to indicate your interest in participating in a focus group for a future study. No prior experience or knowledge is required to participate in this study, and each of your responses will be of great use in the final analyses.
